Royal life does not entail new outfits for every engagement, no, quite often royals will repeat pieces and switch them up in awesome ways. A while ago I posted a thread on Twitter and also made a TikTok on the subject. Let’s revisit the outfits I would love to see again, and even add a few more.
Princess Madeleine of Sweden:

Now if I’m not mistaken, this is a skirt and top. Perhaps shortening the skirt or adding more tulle for a bit of a more dramatic look?
Princess Tatiana of Greece and Denmark:

Princess Charlene of Monaco:
I actually have two repeats I’d love to see for Charlene.
Embed from Getty ImagesFirst, a sparkly jumpsuit from Versace. I described her as a beautiful robot in this outfit and I stand by that. Perhaps for a Rose ball look one of these days?
Embed from Getty ImagesI would also love to see this Rachel Trevor Morgan hat again. She wore it for Monaco’s national day in 2016 and I think it would be great for another national day event or something in the summer.
Queen Máxima of the Netherlands:

Máx wore this Akris dress on a casual outing in New York back in 2019. I just think it’s cute! This would be a great dress for one of her daughters to wear for an engagement.
The Duchess of Sussex:

In 2018, the Duchess of Sussex wore this denim Carolina Herrera dress that flattered her so well. It also has pockets so you know, bonus points.
Queen Letizia of Spain:

Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg:
Embed from Getty ImagesI get rilled up when I think about this one too much. For the gala dinner celebrating her wedding, Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy wore an Elie Saab gown and we still haven’t gotten a good full length look at it. Seriously, all of the photos of her from this night are of her sitting down or obscured by the table. The only shot of her standing in this dress shows her in the background and a good 20 feet from the camera. No one took a good photo of the bride to be?? C’mon people!
The Princess of Wales:
Embed from Getty ImagesIn 2015, the now Princess of Wales wore a floor length floral Erdem gown and I think this would be great to see again with a few tweaks! Imagine this with a shorter hemline or a different neckline. The potential is endless!
Princess Beatrice of York:
Embed from Getty ImagesWhat a fun dress this is. Princess Beatrice wore this Roksanda dress in a beautiful deep blue hue in 2018 to the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. I love the beading details and while I think it may be difficult to sit in, I would love to see Bea pull this out of the closet again.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden:
Embed from Getty ImagesVictoria wore Elie Saab to her pre-wedding gala and the same dress for their ten year anniversary pictures. I feel like that might be it for this dress, but a girl has to dream right?
Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway:
Embed from Getty ImagesMette-Marit wore this sweet minty bluey green dress to the christening of Prince Oscar of Sweden. It’s such a classic Mette-Marit look, a little retro, a little pastel. I think it’s great the way it is, but imagine if it was separated into a skirt/sweater combo?
Princess Marie of Denmark:
Embed from Getty ImagesPrincess Marie wore this blush coloured Ole Yde gown in 2013. Such a shame to keep such a nice dress in the closet, Marie, what about breaking it out again? Perhaps for Christian’s 18th bday bash? Hint, hint.
What looks would you like to see repeated?
