The Crown Princess of Norway has a style all her own. Here are my top five favourite looks from Mette-Marit!

The Crown Princess of Norway visited the Oslo University Hospital’s children’s department this year wearing a pink blouse from The Fold and trousers from Gabriella Hearst. The visit was part of her and Haakon’s 50th birthday celebrations, as she brought along cake for the children there, and left with a pretty cool paper crown.

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit were among the guests at the coronation for King Charles III and Queen Camilla this year. Mette-Marit wore pretty pink dress with embroidery along the sides and wrists. The matching gloves, pillbox hat, and the sweet bow on her shoulder really brought the whole look together.

For their 50th birthday bash, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit celebrated with a garden party in Oslo this year. Mette-Marit wore a lovely dress from The Vampire’s Wife, a brand she wears quite often. It’s summery and light, and with a little toucan bag? Adorable.

Embed from Getty ImagesI’ll admit it, I’m a sucker for The Vampire’s Wife. It’s a popular brand for royals, not just Mette-Marit, and I love every dress I see. This was no exception; for an evening reception promoting green innovation and industry, as well as Norwegian music and literature, she wore this navy blue, sparkly dress that I just adored.

This look is quintessentially Mette-Marit. It’s got everything she wears often: a floral print, embroidery, sparkles, and lace. What’s more, is that this is actually a top from Biyan and a skirt from Lela Rose. How these two pieces from different brands come together to form such a seamless look, I’ll never know. She topped it off with the Norwegian amethyst tiara and jewels. This look came to us from the Stortingsmiddagen, or Parliamentary dinner for 2023.
