This year, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and their eldest daughter Princess Amalia took a royal tour of the Caribbean. While in St Eustatius, she wore a yellow Zimmerman dress that she has worn many times before. She pulled it all together with white sandals and big statement earrings.

The Queen wore a lovely Luisa Beccaria gown to the wedding ceremony of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Rajwa Al Saif this year. She’s worn this gown a few times over the years and I adore it every time. The floaty sleeves, the soft curls, it’s all very dreamy and sweet.

For the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom, Queen Máxima saw that the invite said no tiaras and said ‘no worries, I’ll wear one anyway’, and snuck in the goods in the form of her earrings. The diamond cluster earrings are from part of the Stuart tiara! I also loved her dress from Jan Taminiau. The floral cut out was so sweet and a fun detail for a serious ceremony. She’s frilled, she’s ruffled, she’s decked out in diamonds. She’s wearing Jan Taminiau and the Stuart tiara here, along with the accompanying necklace and earrings that belonged to Queen Wilhelmina.

This look from the Dutch state visit to Belgium was a big gun look for Queen Máxima. I love that she and Mathilde always dress to impress…each other. Royal watchers around the world rejoice.

As soon as I saw this look, I knew this had to be my number one outfit for Máxima. She wore a gorgeous Iris van Herpen gown to Paris where she attended the Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses exhibition. She’s worn van Herpen before but this occasion knocked it out of the park. A beautiful gown for a beautiful Queen!
