It doesn’t really matter what Catherine wears, does it? She makes headlines regardless. Here are my top five favourite looks worn by the Princess of Wales this year.

A lot of people have a lot to say about Catherine’s pantsuits. Whether you love or hate them, I can’t fault her for knowing what works for her. Her pantsuits are always wonderfully tailored and this bright red Alexander McQueen suit is no exception.

I’m not going to repeat what I just wrote above. This pink Alexander McQueen pantsuit was worn by the Princess of Wales to visit the Foundling Museum in May of this year. It’s the belt from Camilla Elphick that really makes this one list worthy for me. Small details like accessories or shoes can make or break an outfit, and this was a really cute touch!

May was a very busy month for the British royal family. To celebrate the coronation, the Princess of Wales attended a garden party in a royal watcher favourite outfit: this Elie Saab top and skirt combo.

So many outfits from my lists have come from the Jordanian royal wedding this year. First of all, we weren’t even 100% sure the Prince and Princess of Wales would attend, as they’re notoriously bad at attending foreign royal events. But they pulled through for this one, and Catherine looked marvellous in a pink Jenny Packham gown and Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot tiara.

There’s a lot that I enjoy about this look. First of all, it’s Jenny Packham, and JP and Catherine go together like PB&J. Second, I like that she tried out long gloves again, especially because I didn’t like them the last time she wore them, and I like them a lot more this time around. Third, she busted out the Strathmore Rose tiara.

I repeat: the Strathmore Rose tiara.

This was a long time mystery for us royal watchers; it was assumed that it was too delicate or perhaps even dismantled until now. King Charles III really opened the vaults and told the BRF ladies to go wild.
