This past week, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden made an official visit to California! Here’s a recap of what they got up to:
Day 1: Feb 19th- San Francisco

One adorable thing I noticed while looking at photos is this:

After the visit, they visited the Golden Gate bridge:

Later that day, they visited the Scandinavian School and Cultural Center. They met with students during a seemingly warmer part of the day.

There was one last event for the day: a reception for Swedes living in San Francisco (although it seems like some Norwegian folks were present as well!)

For this, Victoria wore probably my favourite outfit of the trip, a Saloni dress.
Day 2: Feb 20th-Sacramento and San Francisco
The second day of the trip kicked off in Sacramento, where Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were welcomed to California by state Governor Gavin Newsom.

They also met with the Mayor of San Francisco:

They also visited Open AI to learn more about artificial intelligence and what it can do. For these visits, Victoria wore a red suit from The Extreme Collection.
The night ended with a reception of the newly opened Swedish Consulate General alongside the Mayor. For this, the Crown Princess changed into a By Malina dress.

Wednesday was filled with visits to multiple tech organizations including Google, Intel, and Nvidia. They sat in on several presentations regarding AI and development. Later, they also visited Stanford University to discuss the ethical side of AI. Victoria was pretty in pink in a full Zara suit.
Day 4: Feb 22nd-Palo Alto

The final day of the trip started with a morning roundtable at Nordic Innovation House where further cooperation between Sweden and California was discussed (enthusiastically it seems, by Prince Daniel).

Finally, the trip ended with a speech from Crown Princess Victoria at the Green Transition Summit. She rather appropriately wore a green suit from Zara.
The trip ended just in time for Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel to make it home in time for Princess Estelle’s 12th birthday on the 23rd as well!
