A few years ago I posted a silly video about my least favourite tiaras on Tiktok and it blew up, snowballing into rapidly gaining followers, likes, comments, questions, requests, and ultimately 75k followers at my peak. It’s been a wild ride that I never anticipated!
I’ve mostly given up on Tiktok (never say never though!) as I feel I can better express myself through writing. Hence, this blog.
I’ve been royal watching for over ten years, following along through births, anniversaries, weddings, and funerals. I love the history and being able to connect the dots between certain families or events. Plus, who doesn’t love the jewels and fashion?
As a Canadian, the British royal family has a special place in my heart. However, that doesn’t mean that other families from around the world don’t interest me just as much, if not more! In particular, the Swedish royals have my favourite jewel collection.
This blog is meant to be a place where I can write about aspects of royalty that interest me. You can expect a lot of posts about the jewels and the dresses, but also some biographies, opinion pieces, maybe even an in depth essay or two!
I hope you enjoy this space. It’s been difficult to put it all together (I am not tech savvy at all), and I want to share my passion for royal watching with you all!
